The company starts adaptation of its telephony systems on Brooktrout platform. Brooktrout Technology, an old competitor of Dialogic on a professional fax boards market, issued new fax and voice boards of TR1000 and TR1034 series. They have got both fax and voice resources, besides the boards of TR1034 series can send and receive faxes at a speed of 33600 kBit/sec (V.34).

The main part of CTI software adaptation on Brooktrout boards platform is finished. All basic products including voice/fax Mass Notifier BroadsWord, fax server ArtiFax have the same functionality on Brooktrout cards as on Dialogic ones. The work under the adaptation of audio conferencing system Intercall is going on.

A new feature was added to the fax server ArtiFax. For fax sending it can be used not only virtual printer driver but any email client program (TheBat, Outlook etc.). You prepare a letter where address is the fax server email address, in subject you write phone or fax numbers and attach image, text and voice files. After that the system can send it by fax (image and text files), by phone (voice and text files (using Text-To-Speech technology)) or by SMS (text files).

Address book and history of the last fax numbers were added to the virtual printer driver of the fax server ArtiFax.

All telephony products including fax server and message mass notification system support now MP3 file format playback via phone lines. Now it is possible to send a message-song for the recipient.

October 7, 2004

There is a new server module has been added to the fax server ArtiFax - Universal Converter. Now the user can attach any file of any type (MS Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat etc.) to an email and send it to the fax server (earlier it was possible only for image, text and voice files). On the fax server itself this file will be converted to an image file and will be sent to a fax.

New additional functionality in importing from external database and exporting of reports to text files has been added to the voice (fax) Notifier BroadsWord.

In Calliseum platform and its derivations (voice mail, fax server ArtiFax etc) features of extended statistics and extended security have been added. In extended statistics mode all user and administrator actions are written into the statistics database. In extended security mode two administrators work independently and many actions are possible only after confirmation of both administrators.
